We are still going strong on the smoothie kick in our household with no end in sight! It is a great way to get loads of fruit and veg into our diets, tastes yummy and contributes to great health. Today I am sharing another of my favorite smoothies. It is rich and creamy due to the avocado, but still dairy free.
Strawberry Banana with a Twist
- 2 frozen bananas
- 1/2 avocado
- 2 cups of organic strawberries
- water to thin...
- 2 Tbsp ground chia or flax
- 4 leaves of romaine lettuce (optional)
Blend all together and enjoy.
